Fresco project in the city of Ghent, Belgium
In 2020, the Orthodox Church in Ghent was renovated, with a unique fresco project as the crowning piece. The decoration of this space with fresco paintings was realized by Christians from different backgrounds. The art project refers to the time of the still undivided Church, where connections between East and West were visible until Romanesque art. Today, children and adults are baptized almost weekly from all corners of the world.
